County Voice and Rights

Who Are We?

County Voice and Rights is a community-driven organization founded in 2023 to empower youth in governance, public participation, and climate action. We advocate for greater representation of young people in decision-making, ensuring their voices shape policies that impact their future.

What We Do

  • Youth in Governance: Equipping young leaders with skills to engage in policymaking and leadership.
  • Public Participation: Ensuring youth voices are heard in budget processes and legislative discussions.
  • Climate Governance: Mobilizing young advocates for environmental sustainability and policy action.
  • Advocacy & Policy Influence: Driving policies that foster youth empowerment, equity, and sustainability.

Meet our Team

OUR STRATEGIC MODEL

Promote and monitor youths participation in democratic process through training and civic education. To carry out policy research and advocacy on youths participation in democratic process, additionally generate and disseminate knowledge and information research.

Mentorship

County Voice and Rights is currently mentoring individual youth leaders and youth groups. Current youths groups in the program includes;.

ACTIVITIES WE ARE CURRENTLY DOING

  • We do a lot of advocacy in relation to social accountability, widows and orphans owning land, education, and child rights.
  • Climate governance advocacy - Women and youths participation in climate governance (SWM).
  • SeedAFuture - Sport for change/dialogue on governance - maximizing leadership potential and ability/self-awareness.
